Coaching in the Climate Crisis

‘The world is burning. Everything you and I hold dear is at risk.
The climate crisis we face isn’t only a scientific issue; it’s a human, emotional, and systemic issue, intertwined with conversations around economic systems, social inequality, race, consumerism and more.
Coaching can help — and I believe it must.’
— George Warren, coach.

Purpose

To help you turn your concerns about the climate crisis into focus and action.

My Approach

My role is to help you find a path in this climate crisis that you can walk proudly and that your descendants will honour and respect.

I provide a supportive and positively challenging space, where you can explore and work through your feelings around climate change – whatever they are. Often, the result is that clients feel active, energised and hopeful about what they can achieve, and what can be collectively accomplished.

I also help leaders and teams who are integrating ESG (environment, social, governance) thinking into an already complex workplace to ensure they balance targets with people’s wellbeing and performance.

Typical Client Topics

I coach a broad spectrum of clients with interest in the climate crisis, including activists and accountants.

What Clients Say

"Having coaching sessions with George around this topic really helped to centre and focus my attention more effectively - to put one foot in front of the other, and continue to take action on what is in my control.

George is an excellent coach who exhibits patience and empathy, whilst creating a powerful space for reflection and just the right level of challenge."

Timeframe

This typically this process lasts for a 3, 6 or 12 months partnership.

Irrespective of the timeframe, our partnership will consist of 3 phases:

1) An exploratory session to plan goals you have for your coaching

2) A midpoint session to assess where we have progressed

3) A forward planning session to look ahead beyond our time together.
